Our Results
The bottom line is: We are a results driven school. In America today, an achievement gap exists between the African American students and their Caucasian peers. At The Prep Schools, we have completely eliminated that gap. By the time our scholars reach 8th grade, they are achieving on par with the top suburban, and largely Caucasian schools districts. The proof is in the data. Those that graduate from The Prep Schools achieve at the highest of levels.
Finally, we are particularly proud of the fact that our students — primarily African American — not only close but completely reverse the performance gap between white students and African American students that is prevalent throughout the nation. Again, congratulations to everyone on their outstanding work!

Every year, the Ohio Department of Education also releases School Building Report Cards, indicating the effectiveness of the school. These report cards are based on factors such as student achievement on standardized tests, student growth on a yearly basis, and attendance rates within the school. The rating scale is as follows, from highest achieving to lowest:
- Excellence with Distinction
- Excellent
- Effective
- Continuous Improvement
- Academic Watch
- Academic Emergency
